Klienbrook Kennels Ltd. has been breeding and training German Shepherd Dogs since 1982. We started in Toronto as a small hobby breeder and training operation. Our original dogs descended from American-bred show dog bloodlines. We began breeding European bloodlines in the 1990s, and we have we have only bred the finest bloodlines from Europe since 2001. Today, most of our dogs are from top west German bloodlines.
We do not believe in soft or weak temperament. Our dogs are bred to be versatile and can do just about anything: herding, protection, agility, schutzhund and showing. Most importantly, they make great family pets. Good nerves and courage are important to see the highest standard specific to the German Shepherd breed. Furthermore, we believe in German Shepherd breed integrity, which translates to proper structure: no cow hock rear ends, over angulation or dipped flat backs.
This is achieved by the properieter, Sam Malatesta, who has vast experience in the study of genetics and bloodlines, as well as International Training recognition. He is celebrating 51 yrs of involvement with the German Shepherd breed. With his vast experience, you get a healthy, strong dog that will live a long and active life.
Sam has vast experience training dogs in North America, including aggressive and problematic dogs.
